BATTLEFIELDS TOURS
25 OR 50 KM in a 1944 WILLYS JEEP

Program of the visits :

• Tour 1: Half-day tour of the “Bastogne Perimeter” (morning or afternoon) :

  – 10:00 am: Pl McAuliffe welcome in Bastogne and introduction to the Battle of the Bulge;
  – 10:30 am: visit to the Mardasson Monument and the 1147 km marker on the Voie de la Liberté;
  – 11:00 am: visit to the Peace Wood created to mark the 50th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge;
  – 11:20am: Easy Company’s 506 PIR – 101 Airborne Monument;
  – 11:30am: visit to the Bois Jacques (foxholes);
  – 11:45 am: visit to the US and German cement works at Foy/Recogne.
  – 12:30 pm: return to Place McAuliffe in Bastogne.

• Tour 2: Visit Patton’s Road in addition to Tour 1.

• Tour 3: In addition to the first 2 tours, discover other emblematic sites such as Houffalize – Panther Square Saint-Pair, Sterpigny – the V2 launch site, Musée de Sainlez, Bastogne War Museum, 101 Airborne Museum Bastogne, Bastogne Barracks…

  Tours can be guided in French, English or Dutch and are organized for 2 to 4 people.
